those long awaited photos

So this will be a post of mostly pictures. I've fallen behind--these are all from two weeks ago, but bear with me. Here are some canoes and ceder trees (ceders are my current favorite trees) at our first campsite.

This is Aryn with whom I co-lead this trip, and a lovely eerie sunset.

To the left, brooding storm clouds.

Directly below, a pleasant evening on Boot Lake is featured.

And a glassy dusk.

Now for my love of the very small. I've been very drawn to tiny detail of late. From the overwhelming hugeness of those good old Colorado vistas, the theory is that I'm just balancing myself out. I hope you like them too. Still working on learning all the names, so look for them later. What a great place to learn botany. Biodiversity is just the best.
